R -

May you be surprised by laughter when you least expect it, and may you learn to recognize kindness when it whispers your name. Blessings on your journey.

This is a beautiful and compassionate blessing, Nadia. Thank you. I have not had to struggle with addiction, but your kind words touch the bruised places of the other wounds I've ignored, made worse, and tried to allow to heal.

Thank you. I’ve shared with my friend J, who also needs to remember who he is.

Prayers for all letters of the alphabet struggling with addiction.

You are a blessing, Nadia.❤️❤️

11,329 days, and I know for certain that I had almost nothing at all to do with it except for having given up and never having reneged on that action.

This prayer is so beautiful. With your permission I would like to hold on to it for use in pastoral encounters.

Many good things happen on the third of anything. Remember the third day?

I am so appreciative of your perspective. It makes me realize how difficult recovery is and reminds me to be less judgmental of people who need to try and fail multiple times. Hoping R makes it this time.

My son is clean of heroin for 20+ years and sober for 2 and a half years. He is finally coming into being who God intended. I pray the same for R.

I never was addicted to a substance but I let the world define me and abuse me. Everything you said in your prayer applies. It took me many, many years to crawl out from under all the garbage. I now know who I am and rest in the fact that my identity is a child of God. I love the person I am in Christ. May this blessing come to R.

Thank, Nadia. God bless you!
