We are retired and have a more than adequate income and we're as well as a couple of old farts can be and our kids are well and everybody around here distances and masks up and we live in a northern state where we can cope with any weather but tornadoes (and we have) and my husband will have his second covid vaccine this week and I have an appointment for my first one---AND it's a beautiful sunny day. AND I can't stop feeling sorry for myself because I haven't seen our little grandchildren for a year and haven't been able to see our friends in person since fall and because my knee hurts. Help. And thank you, Nadia, for the reminder that there is such a thing as compassion fatigue and that much to my amazement, I'm a human being with limits.
