Lovely! We need these stories to warm our hearts, especially now. I keep busy knitting hats that say "resist" and sending them to friends. Their delighted responses to receiving an unexpected gift bring me joy.

I was laying here, post operation, feeling sorry for myself, not able to sleep, when I received your latest newsletter. As usual, you're writings make me cry and also realize that I make myself into my own little world. I didn't get it about those decorations along highways, now I do. I'm going to buy a bench and decorate it with a lost friend's name at her favorite Park that we used to walk around with her. Thank you again for all you do for all of us.

On Wednesday my team and I spent the day in the Carol Vance Unit in Sugarland, Texas with 200+ men going through our program. The whole facility is the Prison Fellowship Academy and we broke bread with them, and worshiped with them, and before we left they lifted their hands and blessed us with the sweetest prayer I’ve ever had said over me. It was a little glimpse of what heaven will be like, I’m sure, and I’m so encouraged that the Church inside the walls is thriving. God works on the margins and He is doing a good work in prison.

The church inside the walls is indeed thriving. SO glad you get to do that work!

Delaware, like many other places, is in the midst of an affordable housing crisis. My church is working on a project to tear down our existing single story structure and replace it with a multi-story structure with the church on the first floor and affordable housing above us. My previous life experience in government allows me to be a part of this ministry.

This morning, I was busy letting folks know you were coming to town! I live in Tempe , AZ and am really looking forward to meeting you in person in May!

This evening I was busy with a small group of folks from my church. We have been diligently meeting, trying to create a 5 year plan to help save our church. Our church is shrinking and aging as so many churches are. Finances are stretched thin. Some have given up hope, but this little group has not. Please pray for us as we continue to pray, listen, and brainstorm in order to rekindle the Spirit within our community.

(An aside: Just purchased 3 tickets for Scottsdale. We are flying down and taking my husband’s 93 year old mother to hear you! She’s a big fan. Of course we are too)

Thank you - I needed to hear some good news today: that love and action can actually move mountains.

Hi Nadia and friends. I am keeping involved in life. I made my first phone calls to my two Senators in Indiana to protest verbally my concerns about the current administration. Yay me. As Diana Butler Bass wrote that very day, "love can be scary". Now that fear is behind me. I am an artist and I maintain my sanity through art journaling, painting and sewing. It's working! Thank you for asking. Thank you for these special stories today. ❤️

I live in SLC. My dear friend, an Episcopal priest, texted me this morning about your revival. “I thought she didn’t have any dates/locations near us?” What am pleasant surprise. We’re very excited to see you this spring!

Yay! See you there. Come say hi!

Loved seeing you in St. Lou at Manchester UMC last night! You’re an incredible music teacher in addition to all your other gifts. Hope you’re enjoying the Sacred Harp singing this weekend. Fill your bucket friend.

Feeling very lost here in Utah. But, I'm beginning Lent with your words and The Holy Spirit prompted me to read what I've missed from you lately. Now I have 2 tickets to your SLC revival! God IS with us.

What am I doing to keep busy? Trying to keep track of the little things I’m thankful for. Like as small as the beauty of perfect blackberries in a turquoise bowl.

I started following you years ago when I started discernment for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Church. I am now a priest and have experienced confusing cruelty from those who are my new colleagues. I find comfort and strength in your work and am reminded to take a big breath and push on. Thank you for what you do. You have changed the lives of so many more than you could even imagine. 💗
