Yea. I figured it was a fluffy Christmas piece when I got this message in my email. . . until I got to the "unto you" part, then I wept. . . <3

Now, I can lay down my sweet head, let the stars in the sky look down where they may and fall fast asleep here in my hay! Thank you Nadia! 😌🙏🏻💞

This was beautiful and exactly what I needed! I have not been active in nearly 2 years....so I feel as if this is a step in the right direction. Very happy to be here :)

Unto you who can't seem to figure out how to bow out gracefully

So I'm reading, more like skimming, until I start to read the list of Unto you... I stopped, my chest feels heavy and now I just want to cry. It's a good thing. This year I need to allow myself to grieve and cry. I need to feel all the feels.

I gotta think that Mary and Joseph probably heard the shepherd's story and thought, "yea, that sounds about right" based on their experiences about 9 months prior. 🥰

Yes- be merry! He who came to save us and we sure do need Him holds our hands every day of our lives, making Him a gift to each one of us. He, born a brown-skinned baby boy to a homeless unwed mother in a cow barn can show us that every life is valuable, so we all should open our eyes to His true love and the grace He has given. Yes, Jesus, hold me on your path, even when I trip or try to run the other way, because you know and love me and will do anything for me. Jesus, the gift that keeps on giving- forever.

Thank you for this great reminder of God reaching into our lives.. it is truly a poignant moment when you compare God using the birth of a child to transform humanity when compared to the other times that are relayed in scripture.. ie a flood etc. Happy New Year!! Peace
