I feel like “Christianity” has been so degraded by the right-wing that I don’t want to be associated with it—and “my” Methodist Church refusing full grace & leadership for gay/trans clergy was the last straw.
We got out of the habit during COVID. We did zoom quite a bit. Then adopted a dog with separation anxiety who couldn’t be left home alone. So I went sometimes and Willy stayed home with the dog. Not very satisfying. Then Willy died. I decided I could take the dog to church. And there you have it. I’m back where I belong.
