Popping in here to say that this was just a funny thing Rainn thought up. I have nothing to do with AI. It’s just his sense of humor, God bless him. There’s more of the content you’re used to coming from other writers. Fear not!

No AI fake Nadia for me. No!

I know this is meant to be funny and I see that some people appreciate the joke, but I just don’t like it in this particular space. Wisdom from the real Nadia is too important to me and AI scares me.

The part that I found troubling was the suggestion that the more frequent Nadia, the better. That somehow being able to generate a new Nadia idea every hour is an improvement--is better, than, say, dwelling with one of Nadia's posts for a week and letting it sink into the heart and mind. This frantic grab for MORE MORE MORE, is actually one of the characteristics of addiction. At least that's what I hear when I visit the rooms from the substance side. I get the humor of exaggeration. And I get we need MORE housing, MORE stable food supplies, MORE medical and dental care for those lacking it, MORE justice. For me, though, the more AI conveys right now is more grasping, more trinkets, more disinformation. It's true that medically AI may help thousands of folks...if they can get medical care at all. And since it's here to stay, we will have make the highest and best use of it possible. Reminds me of the Chinese inventing gun power for the purpose of amazing fireworks displays. And then we invented guns to use the gunpowder. This is our species--everything can be used for both good and bad. Enough. Time for me to go back to arranging my partner's memorial.

AI doesn’t have the heart of Nadia. I will wait for the real Nadia. If I have to wait a few days or weeks, I don’t mind. But I want the real human.

Wait, is this really AI? Please, please, no AI in this space! For real, please refrain. No judgement towards folks who like/admire ChatGPT and similar programs, but please... not here. This is actually really alarming.

I appreciate the dry humor! Yes, it's Nadia's words I want to hear, but I did enjoy Rainn's tongue-in-check exposition!

I love Rainn. He's a great wit with a big heart, but jumping into The Corners—a space many of us see as sacred—with a spoof was a misstep, I think. Also, I was a bit annoyed that he used this space to invite us to follow his podcast. Seemed unseemly. The better play would have been to wait til his planned episode with Nadia airs and then scoop us all up then.

As always I will watch the space. By the way, washing dishes is much easier than washing feet.

Ok. Admittedly, this freaks me out. I just can’t go there.

Offered with love.

Sorry, real or nothing!

I wish Nadia many blessings along the camino…what a glorious way to spend a honeymoon. But, I may have to take a break, too. Not up for AI instead of Nadia AND I was very offended when I saw Marjorie Taylor-Green’s name in the same sentence as Annie LaMott’s as a possible spiritual influencer.

Sorry friends, I’m just not feelin it. I love Rainn and I love Nadia - I even love a good farce or spoof or whatever one wants to call it. But this is actually too nuanced for me what with all the online fake news and false impersonations. Let’s keep it Real, I say.
